We offer cars for both plastic home sets and wood routed, commercial style tracks. Sprints Plus chassis can be used on both with a guide flag modification and the right motor. If you're unsure of whether a certain car will work where you plan to race it, ask first and we'll be happy to help you. There are lots of options depending on your power supply.

Primary differences between commercial track style, and home set style cars:

Commercial Wood Track		1/32 Home Track
Metal Chassis		Plastic or Metal Chassis
Foam tires bonded on wheels and set screw mounted to axle		Rubber, urethane, or silicone tires slip on wheels and pressed on axles
16D motors and high power requirement		Small can motors with lower voltage requirements
Set screw mounted gears		Press on gears
Motor screws and/or solders in		Motor is snapped in place or glued in

Champion Thumpers, Modifieds, and Legends are "Womp" style cars built with steel in-line chassis that are designed for commercial style tracks. If you remove the wheel spacers and use an appropriate motor, or upgrade your home track power, they can be run on plastic track. We carry Parma and JK as well. If you know what you want, ask and we'll order it for you.

Champion cars are designed for wood track. The steel chassis is 2.5 inches wide. If you remove the axle spacers, they'll fit on Artin track. The 16D motor will need more amps than a home set provides. Ask about our motor swap. These are great cars and we recommend these highly. Click here for more information.
Sprints Plus cars are awesome. The brass chassis accepts 16D and most home set motors. The tires grip great on wood or plastic. They're fun and easy to assemble. Available with WoO style wings. Click here for information.
